  Had to cancel accomodation due to unforeseen circumstances. Was advised I would recieve a full refund. Waited 3 weeks still nothing so I called was advised to call back in another week if it is still not been done . Unhappy with this but I have no other choice. Call in a week, no answer so leave a detailed message still no response. Send them an email still no reply. Wait another few days still no refund. Send another email still no reply. Owners of Forbes river meadowsn what would you like me to do to recieve what I am entitled to and what you had promised?

  Very average. The owner was nice but everything else was really average. The amenities were covered in spiders and weren't clean. The noise from the highway kept us up all night. We were nearly attacked by one of the long term tenants dogs. Just an allround s*** experience.

  The toilets were absolutely immaculate, and, after a long day on the road, the instant and very hot water provided in the showers was greatly appreciated.

  We were welcomed warmly and given free range in terms of selecting a site. Granted, travelling in August meant fewer people were holidaying but it is always nice to be allowed a choice in where you set up.

  Although located just off a main highway, the Newell, which is a main route for lots of semis and their freight, I was pleasantly surprised at how little the noise impacted on our stay, and night's sleep.

  Cheap powered site, friendly and accommodating, big sites and nice grass and shade.

  It is a small park without all the frills of larger competitors, who are often members of a chain. The facilities, although older than many we have experienced, were clean and neatly kept. The site placements are a bit random and the grounds probably need some attention but all of this is reflected in the very realistic charge of $25 a night. We would stay there again and, as long as you are not into frills and whistles, so should you!
